shocks!!

Okai.. Ive posted something like this already... but I need to know are there any shocks out there for the Lancer OZ ... RMR shocks are discontinued and if you still want them then it will cost about $800.. I heard that Koni shocks are no longer in sale as well... I did it a search in the forum and found out basically everything I already know.... Basically I need Shocks !! Where can I find them ?

( I am already aware of the Tein SS damper kit )

Did you email Koni and KYB like I suggested in a thread like 3 months ago?

Koni boffed theirs and probably will never make them. They RMR ones that came from KYB kinda sucked. I blew one out just going over a pot hole, had to get it refilled. Tein is the only way to go, and probably the best (although hugely expensive, they are worth it, huh Brian?)

They are very worth it, but that's from a racer's point of view. If you don't care if your car handles as good as possible and just drive or cruise, there's other things to spend your money on. If I'm not mistaken, there are other shocks out there for the Lancer, just not performance shocks.

QT, why do you NEED shocks? It's hard to believe you've blown yours already, they're supposed to last something like 80k miles plus. If I decide I have no space to store them, I might be selling my stock set. Prefer not to, though, because if I ever sell the car I'd like to take the Tein kit off and get a few $$ for it.

probably blew them because u lowered your car right?

some company out there NEEDS to make performance shocks for the lancers..we're all sitting here with bouncy cars that look good but handle only decent..
