That fitment looks perfectly fine. We carry a couple ASA wheels in that size for the car as well.

There wont be any problem with the height, just dont go too wide. I'm running 17x7 rims now without any issues.

I'm runnin 17's on mine. The key to remember here is not to go too wide (i'm 17x7) and to choose the profile of the tire carefully. I went with 215/40. Another safe bet if u want a little more sidewall is 205/45. After my research (and trust me, there was a sh*t-ton of time spent reading), these are the best tire-size options when going with 17" rims. Cheers and good luck to ya

Ride height

Are either of you lowered though? I am, and feel like 205/40 is cutting it close.
Hows the fitment with the 215s?

I'm not lowered, will be in a few months when i get coilovers. With stock springs tho, the 215s are a great fit. Gives it a more aggressive look (its about an inch wider than stockies) and gives a bit more grip. Word of caution tho--Don't go super-aggressive with the offset. That could cause some fender rubbing. Other than that tho, if ur not lowered, 215/40 works great. LancerLuke, good luck with the new rims!
