If the shock is leaking, it's blown. But have Rob or somebody take a look for a second opinion at the meet this weekend. Sometimes shops say that to get more business (like when I used to get my oil changed they'd point to a brand new air filter and say it's dirty ). But if it is blown, you have a few (although limited) options. Tokiko is supposed to be coming out with some shocks soon. Tein is coming out with the moderately priced coilover kit (and you could sell your current springs to help recover some of the cost). If you want a cheaper fix for now, I still have my stock shocks sitting around, and although I am not really looking to sell them, my dad would love to see me taking up less space in the house. And finally, you could just drive around on yoru stock shocks for a while. Tire wear will suffer a little and ride quality won't be very good, but heck, I drove around on blown shocks on my Trans Am for almost a year!

That's right, I forgot you've got those bling bling 18s on there. We dont' wanna hurt those tires. I'll see if I can bring the shock or shocks and work something out. But yeah, have Rob look at them before we decide if they're blown or not. Do you notice any abnormal vibrations/shimmies/light bumps?

When I was talking to Rob the other day he was saying that Tein is still prototyping the new coilovers on Andrew's car and soon they will be done with that and those will go on the Drag Lancer and then tein will be ready to sell the new ones. So the moral of the story was he was talking like the new teins will be out soon. The sooner the better is what Im thinking.

The Ralliart's are still available. I can get them right now but they are now $900 instead of $400 and this is the best deal I can find. This is through RMR who I am a dealer for.

Cerfur, why would you want to go with Ralliart shocks again if they blew that quickly, are not adjustable, and now cost more than a full coilover kit? You could buy that new Tein kit for less than these now. They were a nice option, but I haven't heard too much good about their performance or durability.

the ralliart ones suck...i blew one out over a pot hole. Cool thing is that you can get them re-charged if you send it back to them. I sent the one I blew out back and then sold them.

Kara and Dem1k, I'll send you a PM tomorrow. Gonna call a dealership and find out what they cost, then figure significantly less since mine have been slightly used.
