I have 215-45-18's on a 7.5" rim and there is a hint of stretch. So I can see a nice stretch if on an 8" wide rim.

So still doable (obviously since you confirmed) - just drive sensibly and you should be good

BTw - car looks nice!

thank you man.. I'm tryin to drive real sensible.. and it has been about 1000 miles on this setup and i'm having no trouble..

the cornering limits of the car really increased, i can go faster into corners before the astc comes in... (Y)
