Eibach Pro-Kit bump stop question

So I've been reading the debate for awhile about whether or not you should cut your bump stops. The picture below is the stock bump stop/dust boot on the right (from a 2009 Lancer GT) and the new one on the left I got in my eibach pro kit.

So my question is, why would you cut the stock bump stop when Eibach includes a new one in the kit?

Did they maybe just start adding these in the kits so people didn't have to cut anything? Also does anyone have any experience with the Eibach bump stop? It just seems to move a lot easier on the strut than the stock rubber one did. Not sure if that's normal or not.

If you read the insert that came with the kit, you are supposed to use the stock dust boot with the prokit and the bumpstop for the sportline.

Also, cutting the stock bumpstop is ONLY for the RRM springs...(as far as I'm aware)

So why would they include the new bump stops with the kit? It just seems like a waste of a part.

I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong but check the insert. I did not install the bumpstop and it's been fine for me.

So I called Eibach to confirm. They said definitely use the bump stops in the kit. He said if they provide bump stops in the kit it means they're supposed to be used, which makes sense. Hopefully this will help others if they have the same concern.
