Question Eibach or Tein

Just thought i would post a quick poll about these springs. Im probably going with the S-tech myself but just wanted to see some other insight people might have.

Since no one else has posted I picked Teins because I love the height of the drop and I worry about some of the issues I've read about the Eibach pro kit. The drop is nice though.

i say S-tech

i'm personally going to get the S-tech springs they're at an awesome price and the drop is sweet. If you e-mail Tein they'll send you a picture of a Lancer with the springs on it.

There's a pic of the car somewhere on the Forum. I'm just too lazy to look for it.

I got Teins on my car. The ride and height is perfect. Got "17 Axxis on mines, but u can go "18s and still fit. The ride is a little bouncy, but the closest to a stock ride feel. Go for the TEINS!! Here is the pic from TEIN that they send everybody:

Thanks. That's the one.

I love the ride height and it's hard to argue against Tein's reputation. Coupled with some shocks I think I should be happy.

i dont really see a difference between the pro kit and the teins... drop looks the same and if both are just springs does it really just come down to preference? I've done quite a bit of riding in a lancer with pro kits installed by the dealer and the ride is pretty bouncy. and someone just said the teins are bouncy too...so.. i guess price is the major factor.

pro kits = $190 // teins = $175

thats what my take on this is.

I have been selling tein suspensions since before they were importing to the us and originally I had some problems with them (because the products were not designed for the american cars and roads.

since Tein USA opened and I have been working with them the products have gotten better and Tein has even designed a damper specifically for the US market the SS damper (coil over kit) and they are correcting some S-tech problems to the imported units.

I like their products, but keep in mind you get what you pay for, you'll be muh better off buying a matched damper and spring coil over then you ever will be hoping to get lucky with shocks and springs.

the reason they bounce is cuz the spring has less distance to return to its original height, therefore the strength has to be increase. its there you get your bouncy ride
