Suspension Help

I have progress springs on my car now and I noticed somthing the other day, I went over a bump in the road and and heard a horible noise, it sounded like a loud bang from the front suspension. It felt really bad too like there was no support at all. Is this a blown shock or what?

i'd take off the tire and make sure all the bolts you had to put back on are in fact there and are tight. also check to make sure a upper strut bolt didn't come off .. ??

that is kinda odd ..
