steering rack

Hi everyone one im new to fourms and car maintenance I need to do my tierod end and and figure id just upgrade my whole rack and am looking to do a evo 8 swap but have no idea what it entails if this is in the wrog spot flame me or shoot me w/e im useing search and just not finding the answer im looking for mostly a parts list and what else I should do while I have it out and what tools will be needed as I have to barrow my friends

If you are new to car maintenance I would not jump into replacing the steering rack... this is A LOT more involved than just replacing the tie rod ends. Just replace the tie rods

Its more of new newer cars I have helped rebuild chevy motors and I can do oil change timeing belt etc....iv just never done anything with suspension or steering im sorry for not wording it right this is my first car I got to choose and really wana do right by her
