Locking wheel nuts

My first post on this site I believe. I've been a lurker for some months gathering info for a possible Lancer purchase, and I finally bit the bullet a few days ago. My first Mitsubishi and I love it.

So my question - Are there any wheel locks that would work with the OEM 18" GTS rims? Reason I ask is that the OEM rims have a mag seat with washer type lug nut, but all searches for wheel locks thus far are throwing up acorn/tapered nuts.

Amazon part finder confirmed these acorn style lugs will "fit my 2008 Lancer", but I know they don't seat properly.

What do you guys on the OEM 18s use to protect your wheels from theft? I tried searching but didn't see anything that gave any suggestions.

This post should explain what I'm referring to:

In any event, I found and ordered this yesterday on Amazon, and it appears to be the same dimensions , so my problem seems to be solved.

If it doesn't fit when I try it, I'll update here accordingly.

These are what you want, says 2014 in the Ad but that doesn't matter.

Damn those look great! But I already got the ones in the link I posted above...

They fit fine, although I rather the look of those OEM ones.

Thanks anyway.

I got a 2012 ES and when I check if it was compatible with my car is said no...
I recently purchased a set of used 2010 GTS 18" rims to replace my hub cap wheels.
Anyone verify? Or where can I get lug nuts that will fit my car/GTS rims.
