tpms trouble
tpms trouble
So this past winter I had a bad tpms sensor, I took it to a tire shop that my family has used for years. They only charged me for the tpms sensor($50) they claimed they bought it from the dealership. They couldn't program it, told me to highway drive it for awhile. After that didn't work I took it a respected dealership and now their asking for $250. $75 for a new tpms and the rest from programing. My question is, can I just buy a new tpms online that will work and just have the tire shop throw it on for free? Or do I have to go through a dealership?
If possible private message me so I can see it through my email.
