lowering

i am going to lower my car soon.. i have heard in the long run its a bad idea.. it will warp your frame and be shot in like 2 years.. whats the story on this? is it worth lowering?

hmm i havent really heard anything about this, but not sure. I know there are people on here who have had it dropped for quit a long time and have no complained of anything yet.

It depends on what you go with. coil overs are not the best idea except for tien IMO. with coilovers they will eventually wear out your struts. Best way to go when lowering your car is with springs. But dont go more than like 1.5 to 2 or you will have a bumpy ride and you will need to replace your struts.

When buying your stuff just remember you get what you pay for and when dealing with your suspension you want to go with brands that have been around and used alot. Your best bet is to get a pair of adjustables with the strut built in.

ok thanks.. this local shop is gonna do it for me and he's a friend so i trust him i just wanted to hear what other people are doing..
