OZ rim offset

I can't seem to find these specs anywhere. Anybody know the offset on the stock OZ Rally rims? I'm looking to upgrade to wider rims for auto-x, so I want to keep a wide stance too. Also, on these rims, the higher the offset is the narrower the wheelbase, right?

Question wheels

I have no clue about wheels. Sad, but I know a bit about everything on a car... exept wheels, so this is probably a stupid question.. but... what the hell is the offset on wheels??

I am looking to get my wheels as soon as my car gets out of the body shop ($5000 worth of hail damage.. in AZ.. /sigh) and have been shopping for wheels, and am really curious what the offset means

It does say in the manual I believe. It also says in a bunch of threads on these forums.

This link should answer just about any wheel/tire related questions. It also can be found through a search. As far as I'm concerned it's an invaluable link.

REDDOG, two comments: (1) I DID do a search (rims OR tires) and no one commented on offset. (2) you gave me the bolt pattern, which I already know, NOT the offset. Offset is where the rim mounts to the car horizontally. For example, zero offset is when a rim mounts directly in the center. Most front wheel drives, however, mount towards the outside of the rim (something to do with wheel torque and steering, I've been told). The reason for me asking is when you get custom rims, if you get an offset too far off from stock, you end up with your tires sticking half way out from the car, or (worse) rubbing your brakes and suspension while hiding from deep within the fender.

MODERATOR: sorry, it occured to me after I placed the post that I should have chosen a category.

Thanks to those who responded with the info.
