Thumbs up Stage 2 Clutch, Flywheel and Motormounts Review

Ok, since people have now been begging for a review. I'll give you one. I've had the clutch, flywheel, and motormounts installed for about 2 weeks.

Install - Installing all these parts at once SAVES a lot of labor, thats why I bought them all at once. It took me and Gabe about 2 hours to take out everything, and remove the old flywheel and clutch. And probably another 2 hours to put it back together. So a total of 4-5 hours to install all those parts, which isn't bad at all, because we were goofing off.

After install - After I had these parts installed, I was told not to bash on the clutch for a good couple hundred of miles, because it reduces the clutches life if you don't break it in. So when you drive the car normally, its seems like a normal car. And the stiffness of my clutch is the same as it was before, I can't even tell the difference.

After work - One day after work a nsx was tailing me, we went at it, and my car surprisingly beat it, but i wasn't shure if he was even using the potential of his car.

I've put about 1000 miles on these parts. I drive a lot so it wasn't hard for me to break in the clutch. I am really satisfied with the products, otherwise I wouldn't be wrighting a review for them right now.

Clutch - The clutch feels awesome, my car used to slip after I got the turbo, and also because of all the launches I used to do in my car. Now it seems like I don't lose any power from the clutch, and the car definately feels SOOO much faster. Now I have a traction problem between the tires and the road.

Flywheel - The flywheel is to drool for. The revs are faster. I really dont' know about the gas mileage. I've been getting 270ish like always. The car picks up in accelration way quicker than before, and in my opinion it also sounds meaner, especially when I rev.

Motormounts - They make a big difference when it comes to launching your car. Less wheel hop. Enough said about that.

I've raced plenty of cars when I first got my car, and now after installing these components, those same cars i used to race i'ld walk all over now. I.E. Wrx used to be a challenge, but now I can walk all over them.

Thanks to Gabe for a lot of the install.

And Rob for giving us the best out there for our lancers.

just out of curiosity, is the fly wheel located on the engine side of the transmission or the wheel side? I mean in terms of where the power goes, aka

Engine ---> flywheel ---> Transmission ---> wheels

or is it on the other side of the transmission, my guess would be on the wheels side because it has to keep the wheels going, but I am not positive.

just curious how hard the flywheel install was, like is this something you can do in your driveway or does the motor have to be pulled for it.

Whats daily driving like with the flywheel? I've heard people say a lightened flywheel makes driving more jumpy as it were.

to install the flywheel ur probably need ur garage not ur driveway, its almost the same as the clutch, cuz u have to take out the tranny, and driving with the flywheel is great, in my opinion, its not so jumpy, just easier to accelerate.
