Automatic to Manual
The Canadian OZ auto has the invects sportshifter (as mentioned earlier) it would be interesting to see what is involved in a tranny swap...I think the down side is that the invects is decently heavier than the US automatic.
Hey my friend has the same problem too....he wants to convert his honda civic to manual...
I was thinking if you can buy a jdm engine gsr which comes already with the ECU and the transmission(run you about 3-4 Grand), all you would need is the clutch and gearbox....right??? After that, all you need to worry about is labor.

TwiNpnOy84, I hate to rain on ur parade... but there is a BIG difference between a Civic and a Lancer. Civic has a ton of aftermarket support and also has high interchangability in parts whereas the lancer doesnt. Making a Civic a manual isnt as easy as making a Lancer manual.
