Tranny Swap Mystery
At the risk of getting flamed....
Do people say the LSD is not applicable to the auto trans based on real world, hands-on experience, or simple regurgitation based on a notion a user had many moons ago?
I ask because my shop manual displays all the same parts for both the auto and manual differentials. It only shows the ring gear as differing since they have different finals.

i dunno, thats what i was always told: no lsd for autos, no flywheel for autos (we have a flex plate), no clutch for autos (well, thats obvious)
The Lancer uses the exact same tranny. It's the only reason RRM has a LSD for the Mirage.
If someone has an AT diff handy, I could compare measurements to the factory CJ4A helical I have lying around.

i got a question about the lsd... which other cars to we share the differentials with... is it only the mirage or are their other ones out there as well? Im wondering... b/c maybe someone offers it for say the eclipse and might be able to pick it up cheaper then rrm.
