AUTO Tranny problem?

Well at 10pm i left work, after an 8hr day, to go home so i went to my car n started it, and waited until it was warming up, and then i put it into drive to pull away, and it seemed like it was still in park, so since i have an auto i thought it wasnt in drive all the way, so i put it into Low (1st) and still, didnt move, so i decided to put it into reverse and see if it would move, and STILL didnt, but this time it is 10:20 and car is warmed up. so i decided to go into work n call my gf to see if she could come get me, and her phone is off... so i decide to go BACK outside and see if anything is different, and everything looked right, so i decided to try it AGAIN, and still the same problem, it just revved in drive , n then i put it in reverse and FINALLY it moved but it jerked REALLY REALLY hard, but then it was fine and it was able to move foward into drive, BTW its like 30º outside and the car has approx 38700 +/- miles and its a 2003 ES

sounds like the tranny froze up on you for some reason. Check your fluid level.

Yup, Make sure you check your fluids... Have it checked by a mechani and make sure wheel inside the tranny hasn't skipped on you.
