not long ago i had my manuel tranny fluid dropped and replaced with royal purple synthetic oil...well, once it started getting colder outside, first thing in the morning it's a little hard getting my car into gear...it's stiff and doesn't want to go into place smoothly, has anyone else had this problem before?

 

all the time...only it gets much colder in NJ than AZ. once the oil in the tranny heats up a little bit there isn't any problems though. just let the car warm up longer and you shouldn't have any problems. as long as you aren't grinding gears i wouldn't worry about it.
