probably no better than any other short throw out there. look on ebay, lancershop.com, or megan racing. all of those would save you some money and quality is equivalent.

thanks guys...the cheapest i found the fidanza was for 75 bucks...but those sites are cheaper so i check it out

my g/f got me one for x-mas..along with the kartboy base and linkage bushings it feels like a race car, except for the whole speed part. the knob it comes w/ blows, but thats not a big deal, i got a momo from mach v

i got one and installed it within 20 mins
it feeks allot better and is worth the money
the only thing wrong with mine was that when you screwed down the shifter, the numbers on the gear were crooked
use a little bit of lock tight and it will be ok

just buy one off ebay and save the money!!! I bought mine there and it turned out to be great and came with a good shift knob that screwed on.

only thing about short shifters is they are hard on synchros!!

since your putting this on a evo which is a mitsubishi the last thing you need is something wearing on the synchro's as mitsu already has transmission problems.

my opinion is get the upgraded bushings(or what ever they sell) to make the throw more solid, but do not get a short throw. its not worth the wear it puts on the transmission, just learn to shift faster.
