Just looking at the pictures on Ebay, the 3rd clutch is actually one that looks to be a Lancer specific clutch.
That Throw Out bearing looks exactly like the ones for the 02-03 lancers. The other pictures might be generic but make sure you are getting one with a TOB that looks like the one in picture 3.

I would suggest buying from somewhere like RRM or Works for both quality and safety reasons. I have the stage 1 Works clutch and its fine, never had a problem with slipping or rough engagement.

Cool...thanks for the help guys. I'm prolly gonna go with either an ACT clutch or a RRM or Works one. Couple quick Q's for yall. Whats the difference between a clutch and a clutch package? I've seen them advertised as both on different sites. Realisticly, how tough would it be for me to change my own clutch. I've got access to a lift and any tool I'll possibly need (gotta love the Army
) but no experience. I'd have a mechanic at the auto shop to walk me through it but it'd be mostly on me if I did it. Good idea or bad idea?

I watched my buddy do my clutch pretty easily. Would I do it. Hell no. But I am no mechanic. I just understand the process, and thats good enough for me. I say, look at your pocket book. I you cant afford it and have patience, then have at it. Otherwise, just pay your dues and have no stress. Ahhh...
ohh by the way, i called RRM coz i have the same problem as you, they said that their clutch is made by ACT... hmmmm... if you wanna gain experience and you have time, then do it yourself! i wont be installin mine myself.. worksevo.com gave me a good deal, they will be installing it with a stage 2...
