My clutch experience with CNFX

Alright, so I finally decided to order a new clutch. My stocker was slipping badly. I plan on going FI in the near future, so I wanted a Stage 2. I looked around and found that the best price was for a SPEC stage 2 from cnfxperformance.com. It supposedly included the TOB and alignment tool. The transaction went smoothly. The package arrived quickly.

When it got here though, the TOB and tool were not there. I contacted CNFX, who responded quickly. Anthony there said he would take care of the situation. This was on ongoing issue for about a week. We e-mailed back and forth trying to figure out what to do about it. Eventually, we both learned that SPEC itself does not include the bearing and tool kit. The information was listed wrong on SPEC's site, which the information on CNFX was taken from. *IT DOES NOT INCLUDE TOB AND ALLIGNMENT TOOL*

Anyway, eventually, Anthony convinced SPEC to order and ship the parts to me anyway. I know he spent a good amount of his time trying to resolve this for me, even though it turns out the mistake wasn't really his in the first place. I was so happy with the way he dealt with this, that even after this whole ordeal, I would still shop at CNFXperformance.com

P.S. I'll give a review as soon as everything gets here, and I can get it put in.

that's nice to hear. Tell me how the install goes because I plan on doing a clutch install very soon (let me borrow your alignment tool).

Sounds good, im sure you will like the clutch I have the stage 3 from spec. Cnfx has always been very helpful to me which is why I have the amazing car I have.

Well that is the exact same experience I had on a SPEC clutch I got from a different vendor. So it would seem that spec is up to something with their clutch advertisements.
