Which mount? The Lancer has 4. And I don't know of any specifically for the tranny.

That would probably be the rear one... since it mounts to the tranny I believe. It's called the Rear Motor mount. YOu can get one from a junkyard or by going to Deyeme's website. Hope that helps.

there is a tranny mount. however, there are no aftermarket tranny mounts for the lancer. here is a shop pic. it's simple to replace. (ignore all the other written steps) that diagram is really for dropping the transmission. it will give you a good idea how to go about removing that mount though. it's simple. get another OEM mount and put it in.

just out of curiosity; how did you mangle your mount that bad?

any questions; PM me on here or IM me @ Bizkitstyle4ever

I had the same problem awhile ago... the bushing inside the mount broke! Usually it's caused from hard pulls... Going Full Throttle from the start. After time it starts to wear out...

I got it at the dealer for like ummm...80 or 85 dollars. Really easy to replace just make sure you have a jack so you can hold the transmission in place when removing.

that mount is designed to prevent lateral roll....a hard pull shouldn't really effect it....atleast to the point of it shredding.

yha thats the mount, i dont know wht happened, for a while ive been hearing this clucking noise on the front driver side and i tougth it was my shock, maybe it was blown or something but i got it checked and it was perfect so i didnt know wht it was till that day when i started the car it shook really bad the motor was moving a lot, i was like wtf i guess it finally broke all off that day, i decited it might be one of the motor mounts, all of them looked great til i removed my intake, the one that goes right under it that connects to the transmision, it was all tore up( the bushing), it broke to lots of pieces, i dont know wht caused this but im going tomorow to get one from the dealer. it was kinda of a challenge because the brackets were interfering w/ the mount, it didnt want to come out so i removed the bolts and it was a breze from there on.

hopefully the new mount will solve all the problems. just be careful driving it in the mean time. although it is a lateral mount it will still allow more flex for the motor and trans to twist...that's not good. just keep the pedal light until it's fixed. i hope the diagram helped. good luck on the fix

that's my goal; to help out. i've gotten my helping hand along the way and i feel should do the same for others whenever possible

....now; a guru? that might be an overstatement. i don't think my knowledge is that extensive.
