B and M shifter?

Has anyone tried or ordered the B and M short shifter yet? If anyone has any previous knowledge about the BM as compared to other (not yet producing short shift companies) let me know please...

I got it. Went to RRM last night. They put it in for me. It is cool. Not just the shifter. It comes with a set of Energy bushings that mount the whole shifter. Short throw and solid feeling.

Sweet! That sounds awesome. Do you think for the guys that don't live anywhere near CA that it would be a good do-it-yourself project? How does the shifter boot/knob combo go with the interior?

I dunno about the stock shifter...its like a box of chocolates sometimes....you never know what you're gonna get!

Anyone have a URL for this? Do the bushings get rid of some of the harder shifting found in the stock throw? thanks!

Looked easy to install. It came with good instructions too. Robert at RRM showed me how bushings take some slop out of whole mechanism. Stock bushings were **** poor! It has a crisp feel now with the shorter throw.

Mmm...come my paycheck I'm looking at that...The stock Lancer throw on the shifter is pretty long (at least compared to an Accord and an Eclipse). Hopefully that kit will help remedy that.

I got conviced some weeks ago by evo-drivers who installed it already. So I ordered mine this week for my Evo6. In one week I will have it instaled. I will let you know how it lives with a short-shifter...

I got it last Friday and installed it on Saturday, myself, in about 2 hours. It wouldn't have taken that long if the Lancer's center console didn't have ****ty, cheap plastic latches. I love it -- definitely need to get it if have some other mods that take your car out of the grocery getter class. It's (obviously) short, very tight and pretty concise. No problems at all and the service I got from RRE was phenomenal. The owner called and talked Lancers/DSMs/Motorcycles with me forever. Good stuff.
