When you guys were changing your shifters, did you had to buy new upper pivot cup (little white plastic)?

 

no, the shifter can be replaced without having to cut or replace anything.

 

Thanks. I alread switched my shifter. Revo shifter is the bam!!!. Height is reduced about an inch and shiftering is shorter and more accurate. Cost me $50 shipped for new piece. Also came with the shift knob, lol.

dont like the look of the knob. and it may be because the pics too close, but it looks like theres just too much boot.

 

Maybe whatever. But you have to remember that my car was automatic and the boot was made by me. That's fine, I love it. Tomorow dyno. Finally I'll tune my pistons.

I have '99 mirage with 4g94 block, 4g93 (p&p) head, rpw cam, ross (11.0:1) pistons and few other things. I bet I could do better job on the looks but my concentration is in the engine. I'll post some numbers later on on Monday.

 

yes, i would like to see numbers. thats nearly identical to my setup.

 

What's the power in yours?

 

no idea, never been on a dyno just 1/4 mile. best was 16.1 and 2.2 60' times. but that was before i had nearly any of my mods now and car was about 150lbs. heavier.

 

Before pistons my time was 15.6 while burning oil and no traction. In March I shall see alot better numbers.

You should hit the dyno and get some extra hp.
