Member 10,124 eh? Way before your time man. B_Tapper was a rather knowledgable but smart mouthed Moderator that was banned for starting too much trouble. He was here before I joined, which was in Dec. 2001. I only hope Hobie is not truly banned.

No updates. Waiting on the UEGO's arrival before I worry about the clutch.

95+%. Same tranny and everything (though you already know that). Plus David Thomas' comments about the clutches being identical aside from the Lancer having a heavier pressure plate was certainty enough for me.

If you're gettin a CM and it's more than 425 shipped lemme know and I can point you to where I got mine. The Stage 3 and 4 are the same price though if you didn't already know. (Hence the reason I went with the 4...sacrificing a bit of drivability most likely). I don't wanna steer you in the wrong direction though.

hmm okay i'll give it a shot then. if it doesn't fit then whatever...i'll just sell it on some mirage forums. the cheapest i found it for was 495 not shipped so if you can tell me where u got yours that would be great.

i'm probably just going to go for the stage 3 as of now. then when i get past its capability i'll upgrade...but since i'm going to college soon that won't happen for a little while (money shortage).

Well, I'd hate to keep you waiting.

It's going in either the 1st or 2nd.

hobie....i just e-mailed clutchmasters to ask them how many pounds of force the stage 3 pressure plate is... and they said:

hello, andrew
the clamp load is 1300 lb..
thanks
lonnie

is it me or does that seem like its not a lot at all. isn't RRM's like 2200 lbs or something???

The 1st and 2nd are passed, any results yet?

If there's something in between RRM's heavy clutch and the stock one, I might be interested in the future. Need crisper shifting without the ease of destroying my tranny.

Sorry. Still isn't in.

Working on fixing my fuel pressure before digging into my drivetrain. I do have a spare car now though since my sister's at school so I'm hoping to get it done soon. I'm not going to comment again on it until it's in ...or not in.
