i ask myself this same question. there has been like two threads where guys have said they did it but never post up pictures or post anything after its supposevely done.

^runs perfect. why it wouldn't pass a smog test? everybody can do a swap, but to do it right and without problems, that's a key. i have a great mechanic.

well the reason why i asked about the smog test is because everywhere i go to about the AT MT swap...they tell its gonna screw me over on the smog tests...i dont get why either but more than one proffessional smog tester told me this

^He doesn't know what the hell he's taking about. I had my conversion that over a year ago. Runs sweet. You just have to go to a person that has done swaps like that.

I'm actually planning on doing a tranny swap and engine swap at the sametime, I just need to start gathering up my parts and whatnot, my goal is for the 4g64 engine swap to become a reality for me, lol.

well ppl the day is the day has come for me a year of getting parts and finding the rigth ppl to work on my car i got it in the shop 3 months ago like i said didnt plan that it would take this long but u know how it goes something never goes rigthwell the worked on my car 2 months ago and where done but some electrical problem came along and thats what took them so long but my baby is done and i will pick up hopefully tommorrow afternoon. so wish luck will post before and after pics but i cant wait to cruise the streets and beat some ***...
