well ppl i know there has been some ppl tring and i remember one of u did it an conversion of A/T to M/T... well me too it took me a bit time since i had to look and save money all in all i spend $1900 on parts and laybor. i got my tranny and everything else that i needed at the junkyard. well not the clutch nor flywheel. oh and the top tranny mount. all that came out to $900 well looking for the clutch kit at diff. places like autozone and napa and does kind of stores i was giving up since they where asking for 300 to 400 on the clutch kit it self not oem so i was like no the dealership was the same it was oem but wanted about 450. well i was looking on line and came across this website called ultrarev.com they were selling the racing flywheel for 450 i thinkand they had the racing clutch kit and flywheel package but to call so i did and they were asking for $609 including shipping to my door and tax so i called my bank had the momey and order it so a week later the car is in the shop. he is charging me $400 to install everything and will have it with in 3 to 4 days its been a week since my dumm a$$ has not gotten the upper tranny mount and well i get that tomorrow well hopefully i will have it out my friday or sat. this is my b-day present since its on the 9 of april. well i will post before and after pics later sorry for the long post but just want to let u all know that nutting is impossible.

4 hours??? Right. My mechanic did mine and it wasn't 4 hours. No way.
2 guys(me and my buddy) 4-5 hours total. Bring her to me with all the parts at 10am on sunday and you can wait while i finish her before dinner. I've already done 6 of them including 1 V6
And you don't need a new ecu for eclipse/galant so i would immaging you not having to need it for the mirage either, but i can't be 100% positive until i see the wiring diagram.
Maybe but i doubt it. If I see the factory service manual I'll tell you exactly if you can make it work or not. Really the only thing you have to do is connect the 2 neutral safety switch wires together to get the car started and everything else will work just fine. Mitsu ecus are allmost the same, so this should be pretty close.
