Gear Ratio's for a 02 and 03 Lancer OZ?
I have been trying to find gear ratios for these two cars and came up with nothing.
Does anyone happen to know what they are, or know were to look?

i'd like to know too. that way i could find out what second gear is and avoid that in my next car. i hate this cars second gear. its to tall and take for ever to get through. i wish it was real short like my miata.

I was just researching all that today. Here are the gear ratios for the 02-07 Lancers (tranny # F5M42)
mph @ 6000 rpm on 195/60/15
1st ... 3.583 @ 31.8 mph
2nd ... 1.947 @ 58.52 mph
3rd ... 1.379 @ 82.63 mph
4th ... 1.030 @ 110.63 mph
5th ... 0.767 @ 148.56 mph
Final Drive...3.722
mph @ 6000 rpm on 195/60/15

REALLY!!?? 58 mph at the top of 2nd gear. i think i just hit 50 or so.
i'm on 195/55/15. would that make that much of a difference.
