A/T Cooler w/ Fan

I was just searching on some old threads and i saw the transmission cooler. I was thinking in buying one from Ripp Mods since I live so close but they dont have anything for our lancers. I was searching and searching the web and I bumped into this http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BM-70298. What do you guys think??

yeh you will really only need something like this if you are stressing the transmission, like with a turbo or something

bumpity. I am going to install a tranny cooler in my car this spring. Gonna run it in line with the radiator. gonna custom fab brackets to get it right in a opening of my ken style.

I decided I needed to do this after my car clubs anual road rally last year. My tranny was getting so hot it was taking a good 5-6 seconds to shift. the revs would just bounce up and down at the limiter for that amount of time. I would lay off the hard driving for a bit and then go again, it would be fine for a little while till it got hot again. The coolers I have seen at advanced are designed for RV's and the like. I just want something small. Anyone have any info?

have you experimented using difference fluids to correct the problem? When I had my mighty bu I didn't need a tranny cooler, I just got an extra capacity pan with aluminum fins...cooled it right down with the extra fluid and passive cooling. Unfortunately, with the SNAFU transmission configuration of the mitsu, I don't see this as a possibility.

I'm wondering if it's just time for you to flush your fluid or something...
