The grabbing point doesn't necessarily mean you need a new clutch, it might simply need adjusting. I thought the same thing with my lancer, bought a new clutch and it didn't solve the problem. I would suggest taking it in to get inspected and adjusted if need be.

ACT heavy duty pressure plate and 6 puck sprung disk.

It was in my all motor application and now in my turbo application. Didn't slip once!

I'm pretty sure you can adjust it since a lot of cars from Toyota Corollas to Evos have an adjustable clutch. It's a small screw/bolt under the dash near where the clutch pedal is.

Not me. Everything went fine with my installation. At first, I have put in my light flywheel and then my slave cylinder start going bad. So then I just exhange the clutch. Make sure that you get a new slave cylinder.

my favorite brand clutch is exedy off ebay installed one in both my 02 subaru wrx and the 97 eclipse gsx both worked very nicely compared to stock. i ordered one for my 93 altima but got rid of the car before it was time to install it, it is still sitting in the closet along with the master and slave cylinder.

Our clutch master cylinders have adjustment, but the slave pushrod is non-adjustable. It is hydraulic, so any slack is automatically taken up. The only adjustment that needs to be done really is for pedal height. Free play should remain the same until the clutch disc becomes very worn, at which point the free play will diminish. Then you just replace the clutch.

on my eclipse it was a pain in the a$$ to adjust the clutch you have to put your back against the driverside floor and reach up behind the dash with a 10mm wrench and turn a nut to adjust were the peddle sits.

I ran a Zoom 4 puck clutch in my 02 Lancer. It comes with every thing that you need. ie clutch disk, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. However I don't know what your needs are. It is sort of streetable. Clicky the linky and go to summitracing.com to see the complete Zoom line up.
