CVT Performance?
I am working on a review for something called Sprint Booster, I had the chance to try it out on my CVT, and the experience put a big smile on my face.
Its exactly what the CvT needed, a nice kick in the pants on every throttle press.
i will publish in my blog by tomorrow after the dyno day event

There are many vendors that you can get it from. Vivid Racing, JEGS, SprintBoosterSales.com . But if you want the 100% money back promise I would order it straight from SprintBoosterUSA.com they are the manufacturer.
. or if I wanna head to the race tracks and have some fun like do one drag race then let my cvt tranny cool off then maybe hit up another drag race after 50 mins or more and let the tranny cool off. would much appreciate the feedback my friend

If I use a sprint booster can I still use the piggy back and the Next Stage Power Pro (Timing Controller) from rrm. And I know this is kinda off topic but I heard the reason with cvt and turbo is that the cvt tranny gets to much heat build up from turbo I was wondering I know its possible to add more then one tranny cooler say if I add 4 or 6 tranny coolers is that A good idea to get rid of this cvt + turbo problem. im not gonna be speeding like an ******* just maybe if I come across A tuner and he beeps and wants to race I can spank his car

Sprint Booster is compatible with a piggy back or Timing controller. Sprint Booster has everything to do with your throttle response. Not your engine tuning. When the Sprint Booster in on a CVT. I am 100% certain you will not go back. Those who try it are blown away. Many snicker, many poke fun. But there is nothing better then dragging someone out there putting it in their car and making them eat those words.
Everyone in my car club who has one, recommends it. For the CVT its a must. for the 5 speed manual, its really up to the persons tastes.
Awe
Tran cooler is ok. But its net effect is somewhat limited. There is alot of fluid in the CVT transmission. It helps but I would consider upgrading your CVT fluid to either Redline or Eneos fluid. Its designed to handle heat stresses and provide for better operation at the extreme.

cvt + turbo boost of 70 hp
And I also had forgot to ask if the reason why. when rrm tested the turbo on the cvt tranny was it because they didnt add a tranny cooler or the best cvt tranny fluid like redline or eneos and how long did they keep the dyno running with the cvt turbo for till the cvt trannys belt broke or what ever happind.

I want my Lancer to be a piece of eye candy along with being dangerous on the street. Its all black, Im getting 20-25% tint done when I get my taxes back, I want to get HID's for it, the black tail lights, and many more. I have the looks down but the engine is all new (Jap?) to me. I want it to be one of those cars that look to pretty to be fast then all of a sudden Im gone. But yet I want it to be minimal on having to take it to the shop to get the work done. I know I might be asking much but I can do the basics on the engine especially with how to videos everyone has on you tube these days.
Now if there is something that goes in the engine that make a big change then I would see what a shop would say. Thanks again for all input.

you might want to check if your es has a tranny cooler to begin with. i know my 09 es doesn't, and if your's dosent it might prove difficult to even get the gts trans cool adapted to to your cvt let alone 6 coolers.

i don't know if you can see the pictures but the first pic shows the de cvt that only has 2 lines that go to the cvt its slef coming out of the internal. the second pic shows the same de cvt with a new gts internal cool that has 4 lines coming out of it which include the inlet and return for the external cooler that all gts cvts have. some of the 09 de/es don't have the internal cooler that has the extra lines for the external cooler. an easy way to check is to remove your driver side fog light cover and see if there is anything there that looks like a small radiator/cooler. and having 4 coolers may also require another pump since you'll be moving more oil through more cooler.
edit. i got these pics from 9g by a member named crx90si, all credit goes to him. he was able to adapt an external cooler using the internal cooler from an 08 gts.
the pics title dsc4351c2 is his his 2008 de internal cvt cooler before the mod. some of the 09 de/es's like mine have this one.
the pic titled dsc4360q is also his 2008 cvt but with a gts internal cooler. you can see the difference with the 2 extra lines heading for the drive side fender well. crx90si used a hayden 678 cooler and added a 9in universal fan and wired it to the radiator fan. the cooler on amazon cost $60 fyi

if your cvt doesn't have a external cooler to begin with you can not add the rrm cooler. unless you want to cut hard lines. there is a difference between a de/es and gts from 2008. http://9glancers.com/index.php/topic,13807.0.html

Not sure if my cvt has an external cooler but if anything would a performance shop find this easy to accomplish if I brought 4 tranny coolers that I got from rrm.com and told them to help me link up these tranny coolers to my tranny?
if you did buy 4 tranny cooler from rrm 800 bucks without shipping. I've seen coolers that look like rrm's but are like 50 bucks, some even come with the lines and adapters for that price. for the price of one rrm cvt cooler you can get 4.
