I am probably the only 08' on these boards that "needs" it.....

 

Unlikely, there are several turboed 08s and based on your profile, you don't exactly have a powerhouse (unless it's an old profile).

 

Just might want to get the point across that a LSD is not really necessary for a NA Lancer

 

Again, it depends on the person and the situation. If you've ever experienced wheelspin, whether it be because of power or slippery conditions, an LSD can help.

 

with my old dunlops my car would spin in turns while shifting....now with my bfg's they dont spin just chirp a little...i have officially begun the "save for a turbo" fund....i would like to get an lsd after i get boosted

 

Really?? Who?? I am the only one that has posted pics (videos soon) of a turboed running 08. And I don't count xtremeturbo because he/they can't figure out the tuning. They make excuses every month. Brian at RRM has an 09. If there is someone else, they havn't posted proof.

I'm sure you're not the only one. I really doubt that RRM has only sold one kit (assuming you have an RRM kit).

 

They have only sold a few (maybe 3-4) and none of them are on the boards. Came direct from Rob. Sooooo, thats why I stated that I am probably (unless someone can name another with pics) the only one on the board with a turboed 08 that needs a LSD.

Yes its an RRM kit.

Odd, I figured they'd sold at least ten kits combined (between the CVT kit and the manual kit). Regardless, even a stock car can benefit from an LSD, it's just an expensive mod.

They havn't released the CVT kit yet. Once its released, I'm sure they will sell a lot more.

 

there were about 2 other turbo lancers..one was almost a year ago..the other one was shortly after that..i dont believe they post here but they post on one of the other lancer websites. forgot which one only remember seeing the links

It would be pointless to produce a LSD for the Lancer... They don't even sell enough turbo kits and more people eat those up. Just buy some street slicks, or buy some drag radials and race at the track... If anyone produces a LSD it's not going to be for a long time.

I'm sure they would if you wrote the right check... Otherwise its not profitable.
