Road//race make a lsd already!
LSD's have their uses even on NA engines, for an example, when I was a kid, i used to drive my dad's 1972 VW bus. It only had a I4, air cooled 48 HP engine with 13" tube tires, but it had a LSD on it, and when you let go of the cluch, it would bite down into the road and go. Snowy, wet, sandy and dirt roads, it wouldn't mater. Since then I've driven cars with anywhere from 120 to 250 HP and nothing has felt more responsive than that VW, just because of the LSD.
I would like to have one for that mater, for the count less times that I couldn't get up a hill in winter or the times that I have to feather the accelerator just to get moving from a red light and this with good winter tires.

Would an LSD help to prevent the wheel hop i experience almost everytime i drop the clutch and burn my tires. And the rain... I hardly need to touch the throttle and im getting it then too.
Not meaning to hijack this thread, but RPW has been asked by several rally car teams to manafacture a LSD for the new lancers. And they told us to hop onto this thread.
We are going to work with Quaife UK to manafacture a Quaife ATB Differential. The Zedril Rally team in Canada which we sponser, is goign to send us a spare differential which will be sent off to Quaife Uk to start production on.
Minimun production is going to be around 20 units at a time. We will start production once we get 10 orders confirmed with deposits. We already have 3 orders now so this shouldn't be a problem.
This will only be available through RPW, not through Quaife USA at this time. We don't have confirmed pricing yet, and won't have any pricing until we have gotten the sample diff to quaife UK.
Once we do this an work out pricing we will let everyone know and then start taking orders.
THis is a great option for lancer owners, and we all know how good the quaife units are.
Feel free to ask any questions about this.

^^Very good to hear!! I am very interested in this and am excited to hear more. Be sure to keep us updated! You should certainly have some business around this area, already a few turbos out there that are begging for this.

They are very easy to install - have done several in Australia and sold plenty overseas
In Australia it costs around $1900.00 AUD$ to supply adn fit the units, not sure what it woudl cost in the USA.
The units themselves are worth around $1400.00 AUD$ with bearings.

We've been running a Quaife LSD in our rallycar (with a 4B11) for the last year and a half. RPW updated their website recently and the correct link is now:
