Clutch issues.

OK, so i've had my OZ for about 9 months now, and its got about 17k on the clock. Recently ive smelled the clutch burning bad. I have some of those ramps that you drive up on to work on your car, and driving up those ive never had a problem with clutch burn, i used them yesterday and the clutch smell was awful, and was there for the few hours i was working on the car. The other day the g'f was driving and she rode the clutch a bit on a hill, nothing that hasnt been done before, and the smell was bad for hours. Is this just my cluch going or what?

Your clutch very well could be going bad. If you were to get it hot often enough it could be getting badly glazed which in time would make heat affect it very quickly. Just the same as if you had glazed some brake pads or shoes. The stock clutch is certainly not a performance piece. If you really think you are having a problem then have the dealership look at it and if it is bad then have them replace it. Usually if you ***** enough they will replace things anyway. I am pretty sure it is covered under the warranty up to a certain point. If it isn't then I guess just live with it until it really starts to fail.
