Upgrades for CVT w/ sport mode?

Is there anything out there to help the transmission perform better? And before I get flamed for trying to make some performance car out of a GTS CVT, it was a last minute thing and was the last day for cash for clunkers and pretty late when I pulled in to the lot and saw my baby sitting there So I got what I could.

But It only has to last for about 3 years. then I have plans of trading the tranny off and adding a turbo, SST, and finding or building a rear end and making it rwd. (I know theres more work involved)

So the only thing I have found so far is the CVT Tranny cooler... And right now I'm waiting for a few months but am getting antsy on buying parts.

With the intake, full exhaust, RRM timing box, RRM ECU, and pulley would it be a good idea to get the cooler? Will I see any benefit from it?

Ive been looking at doing it. So far it should fit with none-to minimal modification, BUT you WILL need a RalliArt rear bumper. I actually looked at an exhaust on a RalliArt yesterday and they LOOK like it bolts up at the cat and the dual muffler hangers look exactly the same as far as I can tell. But you will lose a few HP. Im just doing it for the looks and hopefully a good sound note. In the future I will be turbocharging it so the exhaust will be useful eventually.

a guy from the dealer mechanic of course toild me the direct fit is the evo x mufler because the ralliart has an inverse angle to fit into the rear part.

you really wont lose power.. cause the evo/ralliart arent true dual exhaust and dont run off any Y pipe or anything.. all the ralliart/evo exhaust are is a canister with dual outlets..just like your stock lancer exhaust having an extra outlet on it..so basically its just there for looks..hence why you see so many evo owners with a single exit exhaust

Well the exhaust I was looking at does y off. The CP-E ralliart exhaust or the ultimate performance exhaust. I'm buying them for looks and hopefully a nice sound note. I really like the sound of those two on ralliarts, I just dont know how much not having the turbo would change the sound...

yeah you mean catbacks.. thats not even compatible with the lancer i dont think...i dont think the piping from the cat back is the same as the lancer..and you would lose power with that..it wouldnt be worth it one but spending 800+ bucks just to lose power..and have a weak sound..

if anything go with an axle back..or go with a custom exhaust
