hi guys, I want to install a short shifter on my new oz rally
can I do this my self or should I take it to the dealership to get install
also i will like to know where can I get an evo shifting nob for chip
machV motorsport has it for $112 and the dealer wants $150

But regarding taking it in, you can't go to the dealership. Unless you have a REALLY nice service dept., they most likely won't install anything aftermarket. You could take it to an auto shop, though. That would be cheaper than a dealership anyways, since most dealerships go bonkers on the labor costs.
To illustrate: my mom's Lumina got swiped. We took it to the dealership and a regular garage. Dealership was $950 and garage was $600. After perusing the estimates, I noticed that both places charged about the same for parts required, but that the dealership charged a lot more for labor and also planned on taking more hours to do it. So avoid the dealership unless it's a warranty issue. Just my $0.02
