Catback exhaust: Greddy Or Injen?

I drive an '08 GTS and I'm trying to decide if I should go with either an injen or a greddy catback exhaust...I dont care about sound-more on performance. Any suggestions?

injen makes a catback.. well headerback, but greddy doesnt. so i guess you'll have to go with injen

thanks for the info. I hear that alot of the AB exhausts melt at the tips from heat...kinda ridiculous.

do you get a significant gain of performance from a headerback compared to a catback? [fairly new at this]

^^depends on if its a straight pipe or has a high flow cat, of course you will see more power come from a straight pipe rather than one with a cat. Dealing with the GTS assuming you're not going to get a tune, you will not see all that much of a difference between a header back and axle back exhaust.

There is also a MUCH lower priced option for a cat-delete exhaust...

I really wish this came with a high-flow cat though...

08 gts (CVT)

I have an 08 GTS CVT and was wondering the same i currently have:

rrm piggyback
rrm shortram
rrm pulley

ordering:
rrm headers

was wondering what would be the best option for me the Header back unit or the greddy tic i hear so many mixed statements. One person on another forum said that the headerback option is useless due to the pipe already in the lancer being 2.5" is there any truth to what he sais or is the header back still the best option.

thanks for any replies in advanced

i'm confused about the difference between an axelback exhaust and a catback exhaust. i have a tsudo n1 extreme on my 09 gts...i wouldnt suggest tsudo their brackets are on the cans and my punctured thru twice. the guy that fixed it said it was due to heat and pressure.

An axel back system is pretty much a new muffler, piping to the flange which is located at the rear suspension.

A cat back system runs from the front of your car where your catalytic converters are located all the way back to the muffler. These systems utilize mandrel bent tubing which increases exhaust flow over the stock exhaust.
