hard to tell in the US. there is no 1.8 4b10 model

ya no one tried so far. i think most 1.8MT are from Euro countries.
if based on paper spec the 1.8MT for 0-100km/h is around 10secs and the 2.0cvt is around 10.5secs . but the 2.0cvt owners dont agree

when the 2008 gts came out motorweek was able to squeak 0-60 in 7.7 for the cvt. then motor trend did their test and review and did 0-60 in 7.7 for the manual transmission.
And then edmunds did their 2.0 cvt test and got a best 0-60 in 9.1. Im inclined to take edmunds numbers for truth over motorweeks because 7.7 on a stock cvt is really stretching reality.

ya gettin the MT is for performance mods later without much headache/damages compare to cvt
