Transmission oil cooler
Transmission oil cooler
guys , i'm driving 08 GT lancer , the thing is after 10 minute of driving the slipping of the CVT is kinda worse.
do u guys know any aftermarket or household stuff that can be placed on the stock OEM cooler to lower the temperature a bit?

so far no over heating issue , the thing is , in my country the normal outside temp is around 37C (as expected from south east asia) so whenever i'm driving through traffic , i noticed that the slipping of the cvt became worse.
so , maybe if i put some aftermarket fan onto the oil cooler that will make the temp drop a bit , it might help.
so far no overheating or error code issue.

If it slips it will throw error code. If you want to install fan to lower the temps while in traffic, be careful how you will wire it. You don't want to operate constantly as the temp might drop below operational temp.
