Purchased a short shifter...

I purchased a shifter and am going to install it myself. I was also told that I could create a smoother shift if I replace the bushings while I have it out. Are there a certain type of bushings you can upgrade too? Appreciate any help you can give..
Also are there any links to a how too on this site?

I used the stock bushings and they seem to be fine. you can get urethane or metal ones .. but its gonna be spendy. Not sure where you would get em ..

here are some how tos. its pretty damn easy.
