To change the trans filter. You have to remove the bell housing. Does that mean the dealer does not change it when they flush trans? I paid to have it done twice. I will have to do it from now on.

My modified torque converter and clutches from Level 10 will be here in a week :-)

Diff Taper bearings

Diff Bearings. While changing dif to Quiafe. I wanted change Taper Bearings also. There are many places on the web that say they National 30207 is the bearing.
Here are the pics to say no they are not. More research will be needed to find correct ones
The OEM Taper bearings are :
MN171653 dealer number

The cup outside diameter is correct.
1st pic: OEM diff taper bearing Koyo 30207-N
2nd pic: diameter of diff
3rd pic: cone bore of 30207 is 35mm
4th pic: width of OEM is 14.95mm
5fth: width of 30207 is 14.67mm

First pic shows my second brake oil seal is torn. On the left is an upgraded one that came with my kit. The rubber is thicker around the edge.
The second pic shows the orientation of the acummulator springs. They have been blued from the factory to identify.
