Transmission swap

I have a 2004 mitsubishi lancer sportback LS that has about
212 xxx miles and I feel like the transmission is starting to go. I want to know if it is possible to swap any manual transmissions into my car. It has the 2.4l engine. And if so what would it entail.

I would imagine one from the 2.4l ralliart 5 speed should work

converting from auto to manual is a big job, but yes, any manual transmission that fits a 4G69 will work...in reality, any transmission that bolts up to a 4G63 will mate, but AWD is a whole other story...
