Finding tranny fluid in Alaska... ugh
Finding tranny fluid in Alaska... ugh
Hi, I have a 2008 Lancer ES. I'm having issues finding my tranny fluid in Alaska. Closest dealer is in Washington so I called because my manual tells me to use diaqueen cvtf-j1 and we don't have it up here. Was told to use airsoil which we also don't have. Called around and the closest thing we do have is valvoline cvtf-j1, will that work? Also filter confuses me, I know it's built into the tranny but don't all filters get clogged? I'm having a lithia mechanic do the oil change after hours and he doesn't know anything about cvt's. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Not much help but your best bet is to just order OEM fluid. No one here carries Mitsu fluid in stock. If your talking about Amsoil, we do have alot of dealers here and you can find their info on Amsoil's website.
