Automatic tranny fluid in CVT (in trouble)

Ok guys so i'm planning to buy a 2005 JDM lancer MX-E 4G15 w/CVT. My dad's friend owns the car and since it arrived from Japan the fool has replaced the transmission fluid twice with normal automatic transmission fluid. To add insult to injury he is running the car on natural gas with the ecu yellow light on (no idea on fault code yet).

Now considering that I get the old oil removed and replaced with CVT oil, I hear that you can't really ever empty the tranny ever by just opening the nut bolt. Is there a proper method of flushing the CVT so that all the old automatic transmission fluid is out of the system? The transmission has not broken yet, what do you guys think would be the life of the transmission after it has went through such abuse?
