My fiance was meeting me at work when she lost power to the transmission. Car still starts up but wont rev up n when its put in gear it doesn't do anything? It's a 2009 Mitsubishi lancer gts 2.4L...anyone have any ideas what the problem could be...there is only 144,000 mile one the car n the cvt transmission fluid was changed 14,000 miles ago

 

UPDATE....dropped the transmission pan n found chunks of metal in the pan...transmission is fried.
