Burnt My Clutch out!
27k is a really really short time for the clutch to go... when you were learning was there lots of clutch chatter when you were shifting at first because that really wears down a clutch fast.. but im at around 46,000 miles with turbo for about 7k miles and still on the stock clutch
happened to me once, but i pulled over, let the car chill out for a while...(about an hour) started her up and everything was good again...thought that was a bit odd, but if it works it works.
On a side note: We have some idiots in the paper called Click and Clack that think they know everything about cars they are syndicated so they are most likely in other newspapers too but they had a dude in there with a VW Golf it think it was, brand spanking new teaching his daughter to drive a stick and she smoked it in like 60 miles. Had to take it away on the wrecker. They seemed to think this was possible and all related to the driver.
do you have a part number for the Centerforce clutch you had installed?
If you don't I would go back to the shop and get one..I would be interested in what i was paying 480 bux for...
