i don't think there is anything out there to beef up the lancer's auto tranny. unless you get custom made parts like a new torque converter and such.

you need to send your tranny to be built by a shop. there are no bolt ons available.

level10 makes a torque converter... but i recommend you find a shop that can correctly disassemble your tranny and rebuild it w/ the converter

First off, listen to some rational reasons.

Why do you need LSD for your auto tranny? For NA application, no one is going to spend enough money and tuning time to run a car 250 HP at the wheel. Manual is a bit different.

Does anyone actually know the cost of LSD? Around 600 smackers and more.

Higher stall TQ converters? Does anyone know the price of those things? Unless you have Huge displacement domestics, those TQ converters can cost as high as 1200 bucks!

Now the Q . . . do you have enough horsies to justify those high cost? Now, it's pretty self-evident.

The torque converter is about 525.00 and the other i think was about 700.00 i think but check with them its posted in the ? will my tranny hold up

Bahamut, an LSD isn't just useful for high power drag racing. It helps cornering as well, by keeping the tire that's on the ground moving. I can tell you from autocrossing a bone stock lancer with better tires that there's nothing worse than sliding sideways towards a wall of cones full throttle countersteering wondering when the outside tire will finally start spinning again. Of course, my car is lowered with sway bars now, helping to keep all tires on the ground and I cant run LSD in my class, but I'm just pointing out its other uses.
