Any sound like these being described may also be from the CV joints. Check the boots on the CV joints to confirm they aren't leaking or empty - they may already need to be replaced if they've been that way for long. That could definitely make a noise like is being described here. And certainly that could be a warranty fix for such a low mileage car.

I always get the same sound. However mine only happens once a year, when I get the car rust checked for the winter. I thought it was because of the springs (Tein), but the mechanic at the dealership said everything was fine and just sprayed some lube on them and the noise went away>

I had the same noise when I was turning and i took it to the dealership and they said my boot at my cv joint was broke and had rocks and debris up in it. Those rocks and debris are what caused me Halfshaft to break. Take it back and get it fixed under warranty. If you have your car lowered, tell them that you didn't mess with the camber at all and it should still be under warranty. I had my car lowered 1.8" front and rear and they almost didn't fix it. I told them that I just put new springs on it and it didn't affect the camber unless I was lowered more than 2" and they fixed the problem under warranty. I got a new halfshaft and new boot.

Noise

Thanks for the info. I will checck the boots for cracks.
The other problem I had was in the power steering,a hissing sound .
I believe there was air in the system.
I had the car standing for two weeks.
Once I started using it for a couple days it dissappeared
One thing I like about the Lancer in the handling.
On Jug handles, cars disapear in my rear view mirror.
Can't what for my Evo to arrive.
