Hmmm I'd say if it's not obvious that you messed with it, bring it back to the dealer.

SCREEEEEEWED. Try to order a needle from a dealer. You'd better pray you don't have to pay for the whole assembly. Paperclip mounted to where the stocker came off might work...kinda.

The entire gauge assembly costs a couple hundo. If the needle isn't moving you may (read: probably) have funked something behind the display.

Don't know about MITSU, but for a Taurus, it runs about $700...

OK.... here's the deal, the same thing happened to me. Long story short I took it back to the dealer, and said it just stopped working for some reason that I didn't know. They had to order a completely new gauge cluster, and then ship my gauge cluster and the new one to California for calibrations. It took them about 4 weeks to get the part and then another week and a half to sent it to Cali. Needless to say I had to drive a rental car around for the time, but that was covered by the dealership. If you have any questions let me know.

wonder if ya could have shorted it out or something. Also try pulling the needle up a little at the base you could have pushed it in too far when handeling the assembly on accident and now it is getting stuck. I have after market gauges in my eclipse and this happend to me....the needle was barely touching the gauge face and wouldnt move; it doesnt take much and is worth a shot.
