Headlight Bulb Socket
Headlight Bulb Socket
Hey guys, today I attempted to change my headlight bulbs for the 2nd time. The black screwy thing that holds the bulbs into the headlight somehow came off. I am trying to force the black screwy plastic thing over the bulb's socket so I will be able to put the bulb in the headlight and tighten it, as normal. There is no sign of the black screwy thing breaking, its just on the wrong side of the bulb socket(where the bulb plugs in), and it's not fitting over to the other side so I can screw it in to the headlight correctly. I hope someone has an idea what I am saying and sorry for such a gay problem like this but I would hate to spend 100's of dollars for a new set of headlights because of a black screwy piece. Can someone please help me into getting things back to the way they should be, or if this has happened to someone out there, tell me how you resolved it, thank a lot guys.
So the black housing that fits over the opening in the headlight assembly, and is also connected to the bulb itself, popped off? I had that happen to my old car and I just slid it back on. I'm not sure why you can't get it to fit back on there. You don't happen to have a digicam do you?
