Fuel Gauge

Alright I am having some problems with my fuel gauge. From full tank to half tank it works just fine, but from half tank to empty it takes 20 mi. til the light comes on. And i know that there is gas in the tank cause it cost me $13 to fill up and usually it take $22. This just started happening after i hooked up my air/fuel gauge. Could this be the problem? Is there some mod that would void the warranty from getting this fixed?

I know our gauges tend drop real quick once they get to about 1/2 but thats a lot. For ur AF gauge did u only splice in to the o2 sensor?? I wouldnt think that would affect it, but check a wiring diagram and see if they are both in the same circuit.

I would assume the new gauge. Seems like a likely suspect.

well i splice into the O2 sensor right after the clip like it said to. (so it goes O2 sensor-plug-splice-wire to ecu)
